My brother and I scheduled 4 hours in the afternoon with Captain Blake. He was ready for us before the scheduled departure time and kept us on the water for a few last casts after the ending time. Our boat caught five Bass, with one being 7.5 lbs. We went to some good spots, where we were able to enjoy both fishing and the surrounding nature of Tarpon Lake. For those who are out of state, you can register on the Florida DNR website and pick up a license at either a Tax Collector's office or Tarpon Trading Company. We definitely had the best experience with a guide who knows his trade. We will be back!!!

Capt Blake was great!! Met us at the dock early and had everything ready to go. Very accommodating having bottled waters and snacks for us. He is extremely knowledgeable of the water and I loved that he spent a lot of time teaching my 12 year old about gear, fish, the water, and how to “properly” cast and get the feel of reeling in the line. He is very personable and has been hunting and fishing since he was 10. I would recommend this trip weather your seasoned or just a beginner.

We went out with Captain Blake for over 6 hours today. He is super personable and is a patient teacher. One of my catches was the biggest largemouth I have ever caught! Blake is extremely knowledgeable about fishing and the areas of the lake, but is so down to earth it’s like spending a day on the water with a friend (a friend that is doing all the work, knows exactly where you should cast, and fixes your rod/lure the whole day). He taught us different presentations that we can now go try at home! Book with Blake, you won’t regret it!!!
